SPECIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS APPLY

Deposit

A $300.00 refundable check deposit per diver is required to hold your slot. This deposit will be refunded once you arrive. Cancellations after January 11th and no shows will forfeit their $300.00 deposit.

Why a Deposit? Because this is a FREE dive charter, this deposit is designed so that only the serious participants, who will actually show up receive the free dive slots. If you cannot make these dates, please don’t tie up a slot.

Certification

All divers must be Open water certified

All divers must be a certified rebreather diver in the model of rebreather they are using.

No certification dives will be conducted on the dive charter.

Rebreather

All divers must provide their own rebreather in a good operating condition. No home built rebreathers are allowed.

Oxygen and Diluent

Oxygen and Diluent fills will be provided by Tavernier Dive Center for the standard price per cubic foot.

Scrubber Material

Grace 8-12 sodasorb will be provided at $20.00 per 5 lb canister. If you wish to use another manufacturers absorbent, you must provide it yourself.

Bailout and Stage Cylinders

Bailout aluminum 80’s containing air will be provided by Tavernier Dive Center. If you wish to use other sized cylinders, you must provide it yourself. If you are planning to use the provided aluminum 80, please bring the required stage rigging.

Additional Equipment

Divers must provide all his / her own diving equipment. Tavernier Dive Center does have standard rental equipment available.

Weather

Tavernier’s Captain holds the right to cancel any dive charter due to poor weather conditions if he / she feels it is unsafe. If charters are cancelled due to bad weather, you will receive your FREE charter refund back. $0.00 dollars

Registration Requirements

Each participant must provide the following:

1. A check or money order for $300.00. This check will be cashed and deposited into a special account. Once you have arrived at the Friday night social, you will be handed 3 crisp $100 bills. Proper ID required.
2. Copy of rebreather certification card
3. Printed and signed liability waiver releasing ADM and Tavernier Dive Center (see downloadable pdf)
4. Printed and signed “I understand the rules and regulations” form.
